Kapudan Paşa hazretlerinin Kapu Kethudâsı Selîm Sâbit Efendi, Mısır ve İskenderiyye fetih-nâmeleriyle Enderûn-ı hümâyûn'a âmed-şüd edüp, bu meserret hengâmında “Havâcibünâ takzi'l-havâyice beynenâ ve nahnu sükûtun ve'l-hevâ yetekellem" mefhûmunca matlab-ı aʿlâsına dest-res olmak esbâbını nâzikâne tahsîl ve şehr-i mezkûrun yirmi sekizinci Hamîs günü muvakkaten Baş-muhâsebe mansıbı ile ihrâz-ı câh-ı [Ü4 103a] celîl eyledi.
